LiveWell Chiropractic & Wellness

La Crosse, Wisconsin

Dr. Angie Frank is a true healer in La Crosse, and this mural was a thank you to her work and dedication to the community. I watched mothers and infants, fathers and grandparents, young and old come through these doors in pain and leave her adjustments with a new brightness in their eyes that you can’t fake.

Sitting in her waiting room over the months, I was compelled to ask her how she felt about enormous, gorgeous peonies on her office walls — and with our shared enthusiasm, this garden came to life. Dr. Angie chose the quotes herself, and I think they showcase her fun-loving spirit, her love for humanity, her humor, and her confidence in her ability to help change the world.

Kilauea Bakery

Kauai, Hawaii

Lovingly called “the bakery” by locals, the Kilauea Bakery is the stop for fresh pizza, warm soups, cookies & coffee, and a special moment in between the beach, the rain showers, and adventures on magical Kauai days.

This mural is my love song to Kauai. My tribute to this beautiful little island, the birthplace of my great grandmother, and where a piece of my heart will always reside.

The ‘anianiau bird is the smallest Hawaiian honeycreeper in existence today. Only found in Kauai, these tiny birds live deep in the sacred mountain forests of Koke’e, Waimea, and Alaka’i regions.

Sayulita, Mexico

Sayulita, known as “Pueblo Mágico” (Magic Town) is a vibrant, bohemian surf village on the Pacific Coast. While visiting this sweet little town, I was given the opportunity to paint life-sized palm leaves swaying around the elegant long-tailed colibri (hummingbird). A bird recognized in Mexico as good luck, and symbolizes reincarnation, warrior strength, and ever-lasting love.

Mystery Gallery

Portland, Oregon

Joe Riso is an unforgettable artist in Portland, Oregon who deeply inspired me on my journey as a muralist. His art wraps around the entire building of the Mystery Gallery, a beloved shop specializing in crystals and gemstones. Joe brought me in to collaborate on this piece — below I am painting the famous nautilus shell, a statement piece at the shop.

Louiza Cafe

Portland, Oregon

Louiza Cafe is a cozy community venue space in Portland that’s hosted art shows, weddings, birthdays, anything under the sun that brings a group of loving people together. Here is a quote we were inspired to paint at the top of a 12 ft wall for the community.

A to Z Surf School

Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka

Tucked away in the southeast of Sri Lanka is a world-renowned surf paradise, Arugam Bay. The sleepy beach town is situated in between the deep jungle and the ocean, and the A to Z Surf School was setting up shop to offer everything any tourist could need: taxis, safari trips, tuktuk drives, surf classes- you name it. My friend Selina and I were asked to help give them a logo of a tuktuk with surfboards, design the inside walls, and paint their name and services outside on the walls. A powerline fell from a storm, which only made it easier for us to lean our ladder!

Cafe Illiterati

McLeod Ganj, India

While living and working in a Tibetan Buddhist nunnery in India, I’d spend my off-time catching the bus to Mcleod Ganj to visit the Dalai Lama’s temple. I’d sit in awe, listening to his Holiness talk about the importance of emotional intelligence, the beauty in kindness, and the power of self-awareness.

After the lectures, I would always wind up at the Illiterati Cafe, the coziest little cafe/bookstore with a balcony boasting the best view of the Himalayan Mountains in the area. It was here that I was asked to paint my first mural. We decided on the mountain scene for their outside wall, adding warmth and love to their backyard space.

El Pecado

Madiha Beach, Sri Lanka

While living on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, I was invited to create a mural of a calavera (sugar skull) for the Mexican themed restaurant/hostel in Madiha Beach. Surfing, tacos, margaritas, and sunsets with friends- El Pecado offered it all.
